Why enter our Challenge?

Why enter a challenge?

Challenges are fun!  They’re a great way to get to know other bloggers and crafters who share your taste in stamps.

Challenges are good for you and  help to develop your creative muscles by getting you to work within some kind of limitations.  Facing unlimited choice can actually restrict creativity as you just don’t know where to begin or more often, when to stop.

Creating something that you are pleased with gives you a sense of achievement and pride.  When you share it with others, that feeling is reflected back at you.

Even if you’re not entirely happy with your creation, other people will admire you for having a go, and what you consider not so great is often someone else’s idea of perfection anyway.

Why enter the Chocolate Baroque challenge?

We want to get YOU stamping and creating, so each month, our lovely challenge team work hard to come up with exciting colour schemes and fun ideas to tempt you to step away from the computer for a while and go PLAY with your stash.

We support you with a healthy dose of inspiration and we’re delighted to reward your creative play with a monthly prize – click here for full details of how to make your artwork eligible for our monthly prize draw.

We also make it easy for you to connect with other Chocolate Baroque fans on our Facebook page or our community forum.   Don’t be shy, come and say hello so we can get to know you.

  2. Will have a go Judith. I notice you don't say what the actual colours are, do we just pick something near them

    1. Hi Margaret, that's right, we want to give you the freedom to use what you have in your stash. So, just pick what you have that is close to those colours. It can be paints, inks, pencils, whatever medium you like. Just enjoy yourself and have fun creating something, Judith xx

  3. That's a really good idea to limit what can be used as it simplifys the whole thing and start you thinking. I often go into my craft room and come out achieving nothing as I can't decide where to start. I am going to have a go at this, have never done put anything on social media (not quite sure how to be honest!) but I'm going to have a go! Thanks CB for helping me to focus...x
